I think everyone has a book out there for them, its a matter of looking hard enough to find it and having a positive attitude about reading it. Anyways I hope you all find this blog helpful. The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore

I can't believe I didn't post about this! Maybe it is because I have yet to read it. . . it came out a long
time ago though.

"Until the day I met John Smith, Number Four, I'd been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay alive.
Together, we are much more powerful. But it could only last so long before we had to separate to find the others. . . .
I went to Spain to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as brave. Now we're looking for the others—including John.
But so are they.
They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England.
And Number Three in Kenya.
They caught me in New York—but I escaped.
I am Number Six.
They want to finish what they started.
But they'll have to fight us first."

"An astonishing novel about redemption and forgiveness from the “amazingly talented Huffington Post) and #1 New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult.

Pulse by Patrick Carman

"In the year 2051, who has a pulse?
With the help of her mysterious classmate Dylan Gilmore, Faith Daniels discovers tha
t she can move objects with her mind. This telekinetic ability is called a "pulse," and Dylan has the talent, too.
In riveting action scenes, Faith demonstrates her ability to use her pulse against a group of telekinesis masters who are so powerful they can flatten their enemies by uprooting streetlights, throwing boulders, and changing the course of a hurtling hammer so that it becomes a deadly weapon. But even with her unusual talent, the mind—and the heart—can be difficult to control. If Faith wants to join forces with Dylan and save the world, she'll have to harness the power of both.
Patrick Carman's Pulse trilogy is a stunning and epic triumph about the power of the mind—and of love."

Revolution 19 by Gregg Rosenblum

I just found this while browsing B&N.com. It looks different but still good!

"Twenty years ago, the robots designed to fight our wars abandoned the battlefields. Then they turned their weapons on us.
Headstrong seventeen-year-old Nick has spent his whole life in a community in the wilderness, hiding out from the robots that have enslaved mankind. But when the bots discover the community's location, he, his tech-geek younger brother, Kevin, and adopted sister, Cass, barely make it out alive—only to discover that their home has been destroyed and everyone they love is missing.
All survivors were captured and taken to one of the robots' Cities. The siblings have been hearing tales about the Cities all their lives—humans are treated like animals, living in outdoor pens and forced to build new bots until they drop dead from exhaustion. Determined to find out if their parents are among the survivors, Nick, Kevin, and Cass venture into the heart of the City, but it is nothing like they've been told.
As they live among the bots for the first time, they realize they're fighting for more than just their family. The robots have ruled for too long, and now it's time for a revolution."

I found this in my school library last week and it looked interesting.

"Kyla’s memory has been erased, her personality wiped blank, her memories lost forever. She’s been slated. But scenes from the past haunt her as she tries to adjust to a new life, family, and school, leaving her unsettled. Who is she really? The Archived by Victoria Schwab

Hey guys! I recently heard about this book and I have decided to make this a priority on my list. I
think its my next book! Its called The Archived by Victoria Schwab.

"Imagine a place where the dead rest on shelves like books.
Each body has a story to tell, a life seen in pictures that only Librarians can read. The dead are called Histories, and the vast realm in which they rest is the Archive. Da first brought Mackenzie Bishop here four years ago, when she was twelve years old, frightened but determined to prove herself. Now Da is dead, and Mac has grown into what he once was: a ruthless Keeper, tasked with stopping often-violent Histories from waking up and getting out. Because of her job, she lies to the people she loves, and she knows fear for what it is: a useful tool for staying alive.
Being a Keeper isn't just dangerous-it's a constant reminder of those Mac has lost. Da's death was hard enough, but now that her little brother is gone too, Mac starts to wonder about the boundary between living and dying, sleeping and waking. In the Archive, the dead must never be disturbed. And yet, someone is deliberately altering Histories, erasing essential chapters. Unless Mac can piece together what remains, the Archive itself might crumble and fall.
In this haunting, richly imagined novel, Victoria Schwab reveals the thin lines between past and present, love and pain, trust and deceit, unbearable loss and hardwon redemption. Advance praise for THE ARCHIVED: "This gripping supernatural thriller features nuanced characters navigating a complex moral universe." Kirkus Reviews"

The Clockwork Princess Review and Mega News! - As Always, Contains Spoilers!

Hey Wormies! This week I finished the last book to the Infernal Devices trilogy. I can't tell you guys
how amazing this ending was! Its super bittersweet though. Its hard to think that Tessa, Jem, and Will's story has come to a close.

I thought the book was very well written. I only found one typo which makes me happy. Its like a HUGE pet peeve of mine to find spelling and grammar errors in published books. Not only does it trip me up while reading, but I think its somewhat unprofessional. Nevertheless I still Love Love Love Cassie.(I'm talking about her like she's my best friend:) )

I have loved this series soo much. I just think that the way Cassie chose to write this series was brilliant. I loved the setting, and the historical-ness (I just made that a word BTW). It was such an easy and believable backdrop for these amazing characters.

As much as I loved Jem through out the books, I secretly pined for Will and Tessa. I just think that Will is such an interesting character to read. He's got so many layers of personality to him. We really get to see him grow and understand him along the way.

With that being said, I really loved the way she tied up all the relationships in this novel.

I will say though, I'm still a little fuzzy on the whole Jem becoming an Silent Brother, then turning human again. . . So if someone will clear that up for me that'd be great. And Cassie, if you're reading this, just know, I totally love how the book ends!

Ok, so now for the "Mega News" I was talking about in the post title. I have a friend who is an upcoming debut author for YA Thrillers. She is soo amazing guys I can't even tell you. She had a chance to meet Cassie in Anaheim and got a book signed by her. She knew I was a HUGE fan. . .sooo . . . SHE GAVE ME THE BOOK! Yes, I kid you not, I am now the extremely proud and ecstatic owner of a Collector's First Edition Clockwork Princess signed by miss Cassandra Clare. I have literally been hyperventilating and holding it and staring at it since Thursday. I just can't get over its awesomeness. AHH!

Anyways if you guys haven't read this series, or the Mortal Instruments series, I suggest you pick up some copies!

Have a great week guys!
