Hi everyone! I am an aspiring author slash college student who loves to read which is probably obvious, and I love to share what I read with people, again, obvious. I think everyone has a book out there for them, its a matter of looking hard enough to find it and having a positive attitude about reading it. Anyways I hope you all find this blog helpful. Please feel free to comment and ask questions, that's why I do this! -Bookworm95

The Enemy by Charlie Higson

Hey y'all!! I just found this book series of accident while searching for another post! These look interesting if you are into disease and plague. They sound similar to books such as Ashes, Ashes or The Eleventh Plague or even Enclave and the Partials.

"In the wake of a devastating disease, everyone sixteen and older is either dead or a decomposing, brainless creature with a ravenous appetite for flesh. Teens have barricaded themselves in buildings throughout London and venture outside only when they need to scavenge for food. The group of kids living a Waitrose supermarket is beginning to run out of options. When a mysterious traveler arrives and offers them safe haven at Buckingham Palace, they begin a harrowing journey across London. But their fight is far from over—the threat from within the palace is as real as the one outside it.
Full of unexpected twists and quick-thinking heroes, The Enemy is a fast-paced, white-knuckle tale of survival in the face of unimaginable horror."

1) The Enemy
2) The Dead
3) The Fear

Bitterblue by Kristen Cashore

Hey Everyone!! I hope you all have an amazing 4th of July, I know I did! So this past week or so, along with my homework, I have been reading the latest from Kristen Cashore. It's called Bitterblue and of course it is after both Fire and Graceling. Those of you familiar with the series, you know that Cashore did things a little backwards. She wrote Graceling first. Then wrote Fire, but Fire takes place 40 or 50 years before Graceling. And now she has written Bitterblue which is 8 years after Graceling. Confusing, I know. Anyways I am in love with this book so far!

"Eight years after Graceling, Bitterblue is now queen of Monsea. But the influence of her father, a violent psychopath with mind-altering abilities, lives on. Her advisors, who have run things since Leck died, believe in a forward-thinking plan: Pardon all who committed terrible acts under Leck's reign, and forget anything bad ever happened. But when Bitterblue begins sneaking outside the castle--disguised and alone--to walk the streets of her own city, she starts realizing that the kingdom has been under the thirty-five-year spell of a madman, and the only way to move forward is to revisit the past.
Two thieves, who only steal what has already been stolen, change her life forever. They hold a key to the truth of Leck's reign. And one of them, with an extreme skill called a Grace that he hasn't yet identified, holds a key to her heart."

Hope you guys all read this series! It's really worth it!
Enjoy!!
