Hi everyone! I am an aspiring author slash college student who loves to read which is probably obvious, and I love to share what I read with people, again, obvious. I think everyone has a book out there for them, its a matter of looking hard enough to find it and having a positive attitude about reading it. Anyways I hope you all find this blog helpful. Please feel free to comment and ask questions, that's why I do this! -Bookworm95

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

This is the second to the Hunger Games bu Suzanne Collins.

"Against all odds, Katniss has won the Hunger Games. She and fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark are miraculously still alive. Katniss should be relieved, happy even. After all, she has returned to her family and her longtime friend, Gale. Yet nothing is the way Katniss wishes it to be. Gale holds her at an icy distance. Peeta had turned his back on her completely. And there are whispers of a rebellion against the Capitol-a rebellion that Katniss and Peeta may have helped create. Much to her shock, Katniss has fueled an unrest she's afraid she cannot stop. And what scares her even more is that she's not entirely convinced she should try. As time draws near for Katniss and Peeta to visit the districts on the Capitol's cruel Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. If they can't prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying."

this is a great sequal and just to let you know the next book comes out on August 24, 2010. Mocking Jay. Look for it!!!

Fairest by Gail Carson Levine

I read this book about a month ago. It was soooo good, and I loved it.

"Aza's singing is the fairest in all the land, and the most unusual. She can "throw" her voice so it seems to come from anywhere. But singing is only one of the two qualities prized in the Kingdom of Ayortha. Aza doesn't possess the other: beauty. Not even close. She's hidden in the shadows in her parent's inn, but when she becomes lady-in-waiting to the new queen, she has to step into the light-especially when the queen demands a dangerous favor. A magic mirror, a charming prince, a jealous queen, palace intrigue, and an injured king twine into a maze that Aza must penetrate to save herself and her beloved kingdom."

This is a magical book and a great read. enjoy!!

Fallen by Lauren Kate

So this is a book I found a few weeks ago. So far it is so good I can't seem to focus on anything else. I can't put it down. Here is a little about the book....

"There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at Sword & Cross boarding school in Savanna. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are screw ups, and security cameras watch every move.Except Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce- he goes out of his way to make that very cleat. But she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . .even if it kills her."

Check it out!!
